there's a tv commercial that i really adore:
it's paris, and there's a couple strolling in the middle of a square, with doves lingering about. the guy stops and says that he wants to do something. the girl giggles in expectation and asks what. the guy then shouts at the top of his lung, yelling out to the world, "I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I LOVE HER! I-LOVE-HER!!" even the birds are taken aback, flapping their wings generously.
the girl looks around embarrased, and asks the guy to stop. the guy pulls out a beautiful ring from his pocket, holds it to her, and says, "then maybe this'll do.."
she wells up with tears, and hugs the guy, and then she very very quietly whispers: 'i love this man.. i love him i love him..."
isn't it sweet?
