my housemate the indian (indian with the cow, not the casino; - the mumbai mari, kia he?, noo bobbi!!, zindegi zindegi...) recently got giddy as a schoolgirl coz our cable tv was featuring a full month of hindustani movies for free. so every evening after work he'd lounge in front of the tv, hogging the remote, watching as many indian movies as he could.

now, i am not a bollywood fan. korean movies, big time yes. hindustani movies, nuh-uh no. coz the movies are just too long, over two-and-half hours each! and i'm fairly sure half of the movietime is the singing and dancing and golek-golek down the five different mountains. so, no, i didn't join the mumbai watching the movies.

but one night as he was watching, a song came out and my ears immediately perked up. the song sounded so familiar. "i know this song! i know this song!!" i yelled, and ran immediately to the tv.
