cousins
called msia again. this time, i reached for my cousin Asmidar (As).
she's in tampin, along with her parents and sister Anor and brother Asyraf, visiting another of our uncle's family. also visiting were the family of my aunt Mokteh, all her grown-up kids in tow. needless to say, there were many people running around in the house, and it sounded riuh and very busy and very happy.
As screamed when she heard my voice.
apparently, ada orang rindu la. hehe.
i shouldn't mess around with her though, no matter how fond we are of each other. i mean, holycrap you guys, i still remember her as the little kid who's absolutely nuts about the girlgroup Feminin, the little girl who'd gladly sing and jump and dance whenever my mother requested.
and, jeewhiz, i can even remember walking her to her primary school (emphasize that: primary school) when the schoolbus didn't come.
and now look at us... we flirted with each other soooo shamelessly that i felt like i'm supposed to masuk meminang already.
*grinsss*
also, i got the chance to talk with cousin Nona, who's already married, with a kid, and another on the way. ni lagi sorang, last time jumpa, dia still budak2 lagi, sekarang dah jadi mak budak dah.
i heard that cousin wani's getting married next month. she still get teased whenever i'm around, or when my name's mentioned, coz she had a bit of a crush on me when she was little. will you guys stop it?? funny la korang. hehe.
i have a very special place in heart for my cousins. and despite a meager protest, my heart softens during this time of year, so ok demmit i admit it, i adore them and i miss them too much.
